Moon shadows

I would like to spend a winter night in the desert during the full moon.
No streetlights, houselights, or car lights. Just the moon, the stars, and me.

    Stand on a ledge underneath a cliff in the middle of nowhere. Look straight up as the milky-way appears. You will be swept away.
    To see the world spin around you, the sudden sense of size.
    The looming rock above you. Towering at an angle.
    Bonding with the stone, nerves in your body connecting.
    To realize where you are. Who you are. The weakness of your body, the strength of your soul.
