Winter recedes from 

Late November each passing 

Year, slush in its wake. 

Lost my phone all evening

I sent myself one

Hundred and six messages 

from mom's iPad, ha.

May the day come when 

All work together for love 

And community ties.

Cleanse my Heart and Mind

This poetry is 

Meant for quiet reflection.

Not inflicted rain. 

Too often, I weave 

Melancholy in its limbs, 

Glorifying pain. 

Mental

Hollow throated thirst. 

Clear slated sky. Images 

Superimposed mind. 

I'm not angry anymore

I like to think I 

Was a bridge; so you could cross 

Over troubled water.

Night time stroll with my best friend and sister

Walking as far as 

My mind and conversation

Could carry me

Bag lady

Chest ache; frozen world 

And long, though heavy, day. Still; 

Complete, gratified.

Cliff's edge crumbling, blind faith. 

One returned alone. 

The crucible: a review

Well, I won't ever want to see that again... 

(More to it, but I am so drained from that and this roller coaster day of highs and lows.)

I actually finished these a long time ago, but I got the opportunity to dye them this afternoon. I haven't dyed them yet, I'll put up a post afterward. The stitches on the undyed cloth are really visually interesting just on their own, they could almost be an art form in and of themselves.
