The Ta Dida Da of a Somewhat Depressed Day

 I go through life,
'most every day
Ever arking day
Day day day
And this,
This is what I say
Say say:
"Ta dida da
Ta dida dae
My name is nobody
God welcome the new day"
Sounds pretty upbeat,
That I know,
Know
Know
But knowing doesn't matter
So just go
Go go...

Wish I could drive, but that ain't gonna happen. (the life of an isolated homeschooled teen.)

Watching the first part to HPDH, got it on Bluray some weeks ago.
Not quite satisfied with the lack of ritual, I guess, however stupid that may seem.
The parentals just don't get it, I love and appreciate 'em anyway.
I want to see the last HP film in theaters, we'll see how that goes... I need someone to be fanatical with. As far as proximity goes, I don't really have any friends. The only true best friends I really have live far away. And nobody around here wants to get to know me. I hate one sided friendships.
Ah, it's maybe a little more than a month away, we'll see what happens by then...

Ta Dida Da of a Time Long Past (something I made up during a conversation on Distant Shore)

Ta dida da
How I wish it was still so
Ta dida da
Why'd you ever have to go?
Ta dida da
I don't really care anymore
Ta dida da
The world's bigger than we think
Ta dida da
Those are now the years of yester-lore
Ta dida da
Ta dida da
Met you at the roller rink
That world's over
This one begins
All without you.

Lend an ear.

Our society has short term memory loss.

Speak

I read 'Speak' for the second time in my life today. Strange how I hadn't remembered that I'd read it before.
The second time I read it, the heroine seemed to have taken the face of a close friend of mine. I'm not sure why, there are some similarities between the two, but not all that many.

The oyster and the pig

Ta dida da,
Said the oyster to the pig.
Ta dida da,
You're getting, ahhh... To be precise,
You're getting quite big.
Ta dida da,
The oyster was told by the pig,
I'll fetch a handsome price.
Think I ought to wear a wig,
Or would that be like gambling with a pair of weighted dice?
Ta dida da,
Yo dida dae,
That's what I saw,
The oyster to the pig say.

Haiku

To remain safe, a child forever
  6/3/11
Sapling shivers in
wind, dreading maturity.
Stream never gets old.

From Love Gives Me Hope

"For years as a child, I was a selective mute.
One day, there was a new kid in my 5th grade class who was all alone all day. The next day, I carefully went up to him and started talking to him.

He was the only one I would talk to freely at the time. We've now been married 5 years. Derek, I love you."

This just struck me as especially sweet. And I think it shows that, maybe, people can possibly move past selective mutism. You know?

We're going to be friends

It's like they don't even exist between emails.
Blog posts.
Comics.
Web updates of any sort.
What are their lives like? What's happening to them right now?
The world as it is now is weird.

You know what I mean?
