A Prayer

Bless me to...
Always be able to see the other person's point of view.

Bless me to...
Never be afraid.

Bless me to...
Be strong and courageous.

Bless me to...
Love everyone, even Judge Dee Benson.

Bless me to...
Be able to get through this world without losing everything.

Bless this anger to become something even more powerful,
Bless this anger to help me make a difference.

Bless the One who went first,
The One we will never forget.

  1. What a powerful prayer, one that could be heard across vast oceans and sweeping plains, one that cannot be forgotten or broken. One that sits in the heart and does not leave you when you need it.
"When you pray you rise to meet in the air those who are praying at that very hour, and whom save in prayer you may not meet." -Kahlil Gibran
The last two lines, I know, I will keep forever...

  2. Kahlil Gibran is an endless well of wisdom...

May those last two lines be well kept, and may they keep you well.
